Nigel Phoenix

Bought in September 2007 by Nigel and Lesley Phoenix after coming to Tophouse for a Devonshire tea, fell in love with the place and bought it purely as a passion fully knowing it wasn’t making any money. Nigel a former Sales director for a petro/chemical company in London for many years and Lesley a probation officer decided to move from London to NZ to undertake a new venture.

Randall Uitendaal

Manager of Tophouse Historic Hotel formerly living in The Netherlands returned to NZ in 2007 looking for a new challenge after being in higher management in catering in both Holland and Germany for 12 years joined Nigel in 2008.
